A Brand Refresh
First, hi! Welcome! Thank you for taking a few minutes of your day to explore my brand new website! I am so excited to have teamed up with Zakk to give my business a refresh! We have worked together to redesign my website, establish some new branding colors, create a new logo, so many fun new things! First change and probably the most noticable, I have officially switched from “Kayley Savannah Photography” to “Kayley Johansson Photography”. I started my photography business in 2016, when I was a sophomore in college (and a single lady!). Since, I have gotten married and at times things have gotten confusing for some clients, “Are you Kayley Johansson or Kayley Savannah Photography? Kayley Johansson for Kayley Savannah Photography?” so I decided to simplify things! We are officially, Kayley Johansson Photography!
Behind this brand refresh, I have spent so much time and put a lot of thought into each and every detail. I want my business to be a direct reflection of the places that I love to photograph and things that inspire me.
Brand colors - My all time two favorite colors - blue and green. The colors of the world around me, especially in the low country. I am so inspired by the marsh, the landscaping and architecture of homes and buildings downtown, the dunes and the beach. I wanted my branding colors to encapsulate where I live and like to spend most of my time!
My fabulous new logo - The curves of the serifs on my logo are inspired by the iron gates you often see in Savannah architecture. The arch of the trees along Victory Drive and Abercorn. The curved lines that are created when the marsh grass blows in the wind along the dunes of Tybee Island.
Font - I spent time choosing every detail of my branding, down to the font. I wanted something that was easily readable, timeless, and elegant.
